Instruments

  • Ukulele: Ages 6 and up

  • Guitar: Ages 8 and up

  • Bass Guitar: Ages 8 and up

  • Double Bass: Ages 10 and up

Teaching Schedule

Lessons are typically held once per week. Bi-weekly and pay-as-you-go lessons are also available.

Lessons are not held on the following days:

  • New Year’s Day

  • Spring Break (one week before Easter Sunday)

  • Memorial Day

  • July 4th

  • Labor Day

  • Thanksgiving

  • Christmas

Rates and Payment

Lessons are given in 30-minute increments at the rate of $32.50 per 30 minutes. Lessons are billed a month in advance and due by the first lesson of each month. Payments can be made with cash, check, or electronically using PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle.

Online Lessons

Online lessons are conducted via Zoom. It’s recommended that students download the Zoom app and use headphones and a device with a large screen. Each student is given their own private Dropbox folder which will allow us to share lesson materials and easily keep track of what to practice week to week.

Cancelled/Missed Lessons & Makeups

Should a student need to cancel their lesson, or if they miss their lesson for any reason, a makeup lesson may be scheduled by request. There’s no time limit in which a makeup lesson must be completed. Refunds will not be given for cancelled or missed lessons.

Termination

Lessons may be discontinued at any time. Please provide written notice to joe@martonemusicstudio.com. Refunds will not be given for any unused lessons.

Privacy & Safety

I respect the privacy of my students and their parents/guardians.  Data that is collected and stored includes information submitted on the sign-up form, emails, and text correspondences.  All collected data remains strictly confidential and will not be shared.

Video and/or audio may be recorded during lessons for teacher/student/parent review, to document progress, to create play-along practice material, etc.
