Lessons

At Martone Music Studio we focus on having fun and being creative! By engaging each students’ natural curiosity and imagination they’ll think bigger, learn faster, and look forward to their lessons week after week!

Students become complete musicians by learning to read and write music, play by ear, improvise, compose, and confidently perform with others. Students learn the value of music as a creative outlet, a form of personal expression, a tool for self discovery, and a means of connecting with others. We believe that everyone is born with an innate musicality that is just waiting to be cultivated.  Let’s make the world a better place with music!

Teacher

Joe brings to his lessons the extensive knowledge he’s gained as an in-demand performing, touring, and recording artist. He’s performed for over 22 years, has toured throughout the country, and currently plays with a number of groups in the Baltimore/DC area ranging in styles from rock and pop to jazz and folk music.

During Joe’s 20 years of teaching he’s had many students pass All-County, All-State, and university music program auditions. Many form their own bands and some become teachers themselves! Most importantly, his students develop an appreciation for the arts and learn the skills to confidently express themselves and inspire others through music.

Location

Martone Music Studio is located in the quaint neighborhood of Hunting Ridge in Baltimore, MD on the edge of Gwynns Falls/Leakin Park. It’s just a 15 minute drive from downtown Baltimore City and is easily accessible from I-695 and I-70.
